721 Sevilla Ave is the Most Expensive Sale in North Coral Gables in 2012…So Far
It’s too soon to declare “winner, winner chicken dinner”. However, the home at 721 Sevilla Ave recently sold…and it’s the most expensive sale for a single-family home in North Coral Gables (so far) in 2012.
The newer home, built in 2007, sold for $2,100,000 on August 31, 2012. It was on the market for 17 days with a list price of $2,250,000. It was an all cash (as in no mortgage necessary) purchase.
It’s not only the most expensive sale to date this calendar year, it’s also the most expensive single-family home sold on a price per square foot basis at $518/SF.
Interesting to note: the previous owners paid $2,340,500 ($578/SF) for the home at 721 Sevilla Ave in September 2008. That’s $240,500 more than what they sold it for.

A total of 6 single-family homes sold above $2 million in 2011. Three of those sales eclipsed the $3 million mark.
In case you were wondering, the most expensive single-family home sold in North Coral Gables last year was this completely updated Art Deco gem at 1101 N Greenway Drive, which sold for $3,500,000 in March 2011. Like the home at 721 Sevilla Ave, it was also the most expensive single-family home sold on a price per square foot basis in 2011 at $544/SF.
